With over 25 years of racing knowledge, Fountain Motorsports owner, Gary Fountain Sr., embarked upon a journey in the arena of short-track asphalt racing. Having learned first hand the knowledge of what it takes to compete and win in various classes of competition, Gary has propelled FMS into a position to make a difference in the sport we all love and respect.

Through hard work and determination Gary has been able to bring together premier racecar builders, mechanics, technicians and engineers into one cohesive unit. The result is every FMS racecar being assembled with state of the art materials, fabricated to the highest standards in the industry and set-up with proven technologies that win.

FMS seized the opportunity to give young racers the chance to work with some of the top talent in the industry using the best equipment available today. After extensive R&D Gary has recognized the need for a first-class driver development program and the excitement it brings to the racing industry. FMS has subsequently made its turnkey approach available to young racers who might otherwise have had their talents go unnoticed.
