Biography

25 years ago Mr. Fountain was immersed in short-track dirt racing in the Unites States, mainly sprint cars, where he learned everything from tires to advanced set-ups. In 2004, Gary Fountain Sr. reignited his passion for racing by taking on the challenge of short-track asphalt competition in the Central Florida Area. Since then, Gary Sr. has won and continues to win races in several classes at Orlando Speedworld and New Smyrna Speedway.

With best wishes to bring the knowledge and excitement of Gary’s racing experience to young drivers, the Fountain family will officially begin their quest to succeed in a Driver Development program in 2009. Continuing in the tradition of excellence at Fountain Motorsports will be three young drivers competing in the ASA Late Model Series South from Missouri to North Carolina to Florida.
